University. She recently completed graduate school at Villanova University
and have a Master of Arts in Communication. She relocated to
Chicago at the end of July and is interested in finding job in the field
of communications, particularly in public relations, marketing,
consulting, or event planning. She would love to learn more about

3RD ANNUAL SEALED WITH A WISH BACHELOR AUCTION Thanks to
everyone's hard work and those who attended this years Sealed with a
Wish Bachelor Auction! We were able to raise over $6,000 and
will be
granting another wish this year! Thank you for all the help with
the silent auction, paddles, website, flyers, PR, logistics, bachelors,
and countless other tasks you all took on! A huge thank you goes out to
Heather Frank for her incredible work on putting together another
successful event! Thank you, also, to all of our sponsors and silent

Brick at Chi Omega Executive Headquarters in Memphis: The Downtown Chicago Chi Omega Alumnae Chapter now has a brick in the Myth Garden at the Chi Omega Executive Headquarters in Memphis. Chi Omega Alum Open Art Studio in Uptown, Chicago, IL A Chi Omega Alum, Sarah Raskey, has created an inspirational art video and cross country road trip to raise funds for an open art studio. Chi Omega Alum has Volunteer Opportunities Kristi Bruno, Iowa State Alum, works for a non-profit, Junior Achievement, which is an organization with the mission of educating and inspiring young people to succeed in a global economy. We are looking for volunteers to present JA programs to students throughout the Chicago area (city and burbs) on the topics of financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. We have a new Regional Alumnae Director: Congratulations to our own Maggie Ross Abramson, who is now the Regional Alumnae Director for the Great Lakes area. RADs provides assistance in alumnae development efforts by promoting lifelong commitment to Chi Omega and its traditions, and Maggie will oversee the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. This is a very prestigious volunteer position, and we are really proud of our own exec board membership chair for securing it! Hoot! Hoot!

Congrats to our own executive board/committee members!: Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our executive board and dedicated committee members, our chapter came home from Convention 2008 with not one but TWO alumnae chapter awards! We won an award for our participation in the 2007 Elusinian event with the four other area alumnae chapters. We also won an award for Sisterhood, regarding our relationships with both the Rho Mu chapter at DePaul and the Xi chapter at Northwestern. This is no doubt thanks to our many chapter members who serve in advisory positions with both undergraduate chapters, as well as those of us who volunteer and attend social, philanthropic and sisterhood events with or in support of these chapters. Congratulations ladies!
Doggie Playdates: If you have a pup and you'd like to join other Chi Os for organized doggie playdates at local dog parks/beaches, e-mail Stacey to be added to the e-mail list. The plan is to arrange some dates for Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons.
Exercise Buddies: We're finalizing a list of interested Chi Os by neighborhood/interests/ gyms before organizing some runs and walks along the lake and in neighborhoods. E-mail Stacey if you would like to be added to the list!
